As an educator at Ocean Springs High School for over 12 years, I am passionate about providing quality education and fostering a positive learning environment for my students. I have a strong background in curriculum assessment, educational technology, and performance management, as well as an Ed.S degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from William Carey University.In addition to my teaching role, I have also gained valuable experience as an academic coordinator at Duke University Talent Identification Program, where I led regular instructional staff meetings, reviewed and followed-up on student academic referrals, and prepared a final report that summarized instructional operations at the site. I also have skills in grant writing, grant administration, and grant reporting, which I developed as an assistant director at the Institute for Marine Mammal Studies. These skills enable me to contribute to the development and implementation of innovative and evidence-based educational programs and initiatives that address the needs of diverse and at-risk populations.
