As the Director of Leisure and International Sales, my role is to promote the City of Grapevine to both the domestic and international markets. Though my primary focus is on leisure, I do work the group convention market internationally. My market includes any country with a direct flight into DFW Airport.

I specialized in the Association Markets, with an emphasis on agriculture, environmental, education and business/trade.

Proudly represented Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, North and South Dakota, Colorado, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana and Alaska, offering the travel industry multiple opportunities to get their message in front of tour and travel leaders across the US and Canada.

Responsible for all group and corporate accounts as well as events for the Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton Inn & Suites Northeast Wichita.

My position is constantly evolving here with the Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau. It has grown from focusing on the overall promotion for both individual and group leisure visitors, both domestic and internationally, to managing the development of all sister city programs. Grapevine has three sister cities: Parras de la Fuente, Mexico; Krems, Austria; and West Lothian, Scotland. I'm currently responsible for all professional and educational programs tied to our sister city programs. Along the way I have built many relationships in the tourism industry, developed numerous itineraries and both hosted and attended multiple tradeshows. I was a key contributor to making both GrapeFest and Christmas Capital of Texas ABA Top 100 Events and managed all responsibilities that go with hosting the ABA Marketplace in 2007 and 2012. I developed great relationships with our hotel partners, working with them to create hotel packages for special events annually. I managed a team of five to help run the Visitor Center, all museum and gallery exhibits, manage all domestic and international sales activities, as well as all sister city activities. As of 2015 my role has evolved again to primarily focus on the sister city program. This program has grown to a minimum of eight educational and professional exchanges a year, providing youth opportunities in hospitality, culinary arts, music and arts, education and golf.

As the Director of the Lewisville Convention & Visitors Bureau, I created promotions to help drive business to this North Texas town. Such promotions included a Christmas shopping promotion featured across Oklahoma as well as developing multiple golf packages with our hotel partners. The website and all visitor collateral were also redeveloped during my time as the Director of the Lewisville Convention & Visitors Bureau.

As the Tourism Sales Manager in Mobile, Alabama, I was primarily responsible for all group tour marketing for the destination. I am also proud to have been part of the Tourism Department that lead the way for the rebranding, making Mobile the Mobile Bay Convention & Visitors Bureau. I also served as the Convention Services Coordinator during my time at the Mobile Bay Convention & Visitors Bureau.
