As a contact tracer, my primary responsibility is to track down individuals who may have been exposed to contagious diseases and advise them on the appropriate steps to take to avoid spreading the infection further. It involves working work with public health agencies, healthcare providers, and community organisations to identify potential cases and gather critical information about the individuals' symptoms, exposure, and contacts.To efficiently perform my duties, I am required to use various Microsoft programs, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. I am responsible for inputting data into a CRM database and monitoring cases.Managing cases involves conducting interviews, monitoring symptoms, and providing guidance and resources to individuals and families affected by the disease. As a contact tracer, I have gained excellent communication skills, empathy, and to work collaboratively with a team to ensure that each case is appropriately managed.
