I am a Penn State graduate, looking for opportunities in Pittsburgh. I worked as an English teacher in Taiwan and I loved the team work that came with the job. Upon returning to the US, I took a temporary position as an administrative assistant. Although it was a temporary position, I learned to appreciate the importance of company culture. This company encouraged everyone to work together and put a lot of value in how an encouraging and fulfilling work environment could benefit both employees and the goals of the organization. Now, as a data entry clerk, I appreciate the trust that my employer places on me to work independently. I have been successful in creating systems that help me be my best and most productive at work and at home (during COVID). It has been good to have the space and respect to develop routines and strategies that work for me. I am excited to find a position where I can prove my ability to work independently to accomplish tasks but also have the opportunity to return to an environment that is more dynamic and conducive to collaboration.
