Aupair
I thoroughly enjoyed my time as an AuPair for the Buss Family. During my stay, my primary responsibility was to take care of the 3 children, age 11, 13, and 15. Daily tasks included, but weren’t limited to, preparing meals, walking their 2 dogs, driving the children to/from school, and household jobs such as laundry and general cleaning. Living with a new family and learning their dynamics provided me with great opportunities to develop patience, along side flexible communication skills. Together, with the children, we developed a consistent routine. This is really important for children with autism and/or ADHD, to reduce any challenging behaviours, and develop stronger relationships.
