I currently lead the research at an elephant research base in Northern Thailand. I coordinate behavioural research on semi-wild elephants, as well as biodiversity research focussing on birds and butterflies of the region.

I led the terrestrial conservation research at this coastal base in Kenya, with a specialism in Colobus monkeys.

Tortuguero National Park, Costa Rica

I coordinated three biodiversity projects at the Jalova Biological Research Station in Costa Rica. These projects were the Canal Bird Monitoring Program, Biodiversity Assessment Project and Incidentals Project. On top of these I ran the Internship and Biological Surveys Technique Certificate. My responsibilities included data collection in the field, data organisation and analysis, writing reports for governmental agencies, planning new projects and training volunteers and interns on all aspects of conservation biology research.

On completion of my PhD thesis, I obtained funding to remain within my department for a short time to work on scientific papers for submission to journals.
