As part of the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology Project Management Office, I managed extramural lab projects. I was responsible for the end-to-end project lifecycle, including planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing projects. I worked closely with Business Analysts to determine project requirements and project scope. One of the most important parts of my job was managing the communications between the various stakeholders and sponsors of the projects and helping to build relationships and navigating the team through a complex and dynamic segment of the healthcare industry.
