I hire, train, and support our staff to foster the philosophy and the mission of our program. CFE is a stress free, bully free school where, without the unnecessary stressors, students can focus on their academic and personal achievements. We believe children have unlimited potential--academically, socially, and emotionally--when given the appropriate environment.As a liaison for educational attorneys, advocates, counties and local districts, I review cases for educational placements. I develop meaningful relationships with our students and their families to support student success. I provide programming, mentorship, and training to our staff to support CFE's initiatives. To that end, I support our students social, emotional, and academic needs through best practices. I coordinate in-person therapeutic services and out-patient/wrap-around counseling services.I maintain a visible presence throughout the day by building relationships and mentoring in a positive supportive environment. I ensure that the Center's teachings are relevant and inclusive. As the Director, I am responsible for overseeing the budget, including payroll. In addition, I ensure that CFE is in compliance with the requirements of New Jersey non-publics and our entitlements.As the educational planner and college adviser, CFE has enjoyed a 100 percent four-year college acceptance rate and approximately $68,500 academic merit scholarship average. From preparing the college application portfolio to counseling on college selections, I work diligently to assist students with the college search in order to find the school that best fits a student's academic, emotional and social needs. To get a student into college is one thing--to have a student matriculate successfully is another. To be one own's advocate, to be happy and to be successful, that is our objective for the students at the Center For Education.
