- Conducted extensive historical research on various media topics. This research required the ability to locate and examine microfilm, along with other resources. - Completed research and presented at the UTC Symposium on the 19th Century Press in 2009. - Designed and submitted monthly scientific progress reports to our project leaders at ASME.

- Conducted interviews and wrote a variety of feature and sports stories.- Shot photos for all of my stories, along with photographing various sporting events.- Helped design advertisements for customers.- Designed the layout for the weekly newspaper and helped the paper to meet its printing deadlines.

- Conducted research and addressed the S.D. Senate Republican Caucus to explain the campaign finance bill before debate took place on the bill.- Wrote press releases for senators that were then printed in their hometown newspapers.- Composed responses for constituent correspondence (telephone, email, letters).
