Heather is a Highly motivated Registered Nurse who holds a leadership position as a Patient Care Coordinator on a Progressive Care Unit. She is a hardworking and caring individual looking to find a company that she can grow with over the course of her career. She been working in healthcare since 2003 (a junior in HS), where she began her journey as a CNA. She has experience in both long-term care and acute care. She has been an RN for 7 years, 5 of those she has led her team by being the Patient Care Coordinator. She also has her associate degree in surgical technology and spent about a year working for a local eye doctor assisting with cataract surgeries before switching over to the clinic side. On the clinic side, she had many responsibilities but one of which was to train the new hires. She believes that opportunity made her a stronger individual both personally and professionally and helped her build leadership skills. She has a strong desire to go above and beyond the call of duty and always takes the initiative. She is a fast learner who is driven to always learn. She has been told by her previous managers and coworkers that she has a positive and professional attitude. Heather believes that teamwork is a must in order to keep patients a top priority. Nursing has always been her passion!
