Evaluate and score grant proposals submitted to various federal grantmaking organizations. Utilizing specific scoring systems per the organization and reach consensus with review panel members. Knowledge of various grant styles, requirements, remote grant review systems and software.

Oversees refugee mental health programs for humanitarian immigrants living in the Baltimore and Suburban Washington Metropolitan areas, as part of the Maryland Refugee Health Program. Technical liaison/contract monitor for all programmatic aspects to subcontractors regarding refugee mental health screening, referrals, therapy and the implementation of their grant award programs. Responsible for reporting requirements to the Office of Refugee Resettlement and the Maryland Office for Refugees and Asylees. Administers adjustment groups and mental health orientations. Evaluates overseas medical paperwork for psychological conditions and makes recommendations for medical, psychological, and/or psychiatric referrals. Develops culturally and linguistically appropriate curriculum and related educational materials; community outreach, staff development/training, always working to expand access to mental health services for this population through new and established partnerships. Provides technical assistance and serves as the refugee mental health program liaison with federal, state, and local public and private health promotion entities.

Providing direct integrated care coordination to a diverse clientele, as a member of the primary care team at a Federally Qualified Health Center with a focus on LGBT health and HIV care. Provides consultation to medical providers, staff, and other service providers and coordinates linkages to behavioral health and community resources. Administers psycho-social assessments and standard screening/outcome measurement instruments. Serves on the Baltimore HIV Run/Walk organizing committee.
