Manage/organize a team of FSQ technicians. Complete performance appraisals and coaching sessions.Review HACCP and SSOP documentation to verify compliance with our program.Evaluate and revise food safety and quality procedures and GMP guidelines.Work with Production, Sanitation, Maintenance, and Warehouse departments to ensure regulatory guidelines are met as well as GMP guidelines and other HACCP prerequisites.Perform continuous food safety audits of all processes and grounds, audits are based on AIB and Silliker guidelines.Investigate Environmental and Food Contact sites to resolve pathogen issues.Identify Investigational test sites for equipment teardown.Manage pest control; work with PCO to ensure compliance. Guidelines are based on AIB standards.Train new hires on food safety and quality which included proper GMP procedures, allergen control, HACCP, and SSOP’s.Play an active role in preparing the plant for third party audits.Member of Food Defense and Food Safety Team; also participate in the Customer Complaint, Label Tracking, and Employee Appreciation Committee.
