• Created and taught an engineering and technology curriculum for all K-6 students which included computer-aided design software, coding, robotics, animation, and engineering design challenges. • Performed lead role in the development of the Fabrication Laboratory including equipment selection, integration, construction, operation and maintenance. • Collaborated with classroom teachers to create customized inquiries that integrate STEAM into social studies, science, and literature units based on grade level standards.

Senior Advanced Engineer, Component Investigations Team• Conducted failure analyses of gas turbine engine components consisting of superalloys, steels, titanium alloys, aluminum alloys and non-metallics.• Authored materials analysis reports to support development and production engine programs, certification testing, and service related issues.• Worked with NTSB to support product integrity accident investigations. Represented CI team at the NTSB labs in Washington, DC.• Mentored new grad rotational engineers, and participated in hiring process for new CI engineers.• Created and maintained component investigations web page.• Developed and implemented export control process for CI team.Test Engineer, AS900 Test & Validation Team• Managed the build, test, and teardown of development and certification engines. • Worked with other members of the test team and engineering to achieve milestones in the FAA certification process. • Led substantiation testing of mechanical core, authored assembly and test procedures, and conducted endurance, overtemperature, controls, and accelerated mission testing.

• Chemistry Lab- Performed solutions analysis, FTIR, x-ray diffraction, emissions & bleed air testing. Built FTIR standards library.• Metallography Lab- Prepared metallographic samples and operated SEM/EDS for engineering, heat treat, and component investigations. • Heat Treat & Plating- Led cross-function team in chemical cost reduction project, which was selected for Quest for Excellence. • Gearline- Revised engineering drawings and coordinated in-sourcing of bevel gear line.
