About Heather M.

With over 25 years in design and marketing as a Visuals Merchandiser and Theatre Director, I have made creative and innovative ideas come to life in a store display or onstage. I developed these skills through daily experience on the store floor, creating new designs to increase the sale of an overstocked item or speaking with customers to get a better idea of what their needs are. Managing assistant merchandisers and visual specialists, monitoring sales and inventory, as well as training new merchandisers on store designs and corporate regulations, enabled me to gain the necessary skills to move into any design or marketing field. The skills I developed I use daily in my current position as a Head Theatre Director, from teaching to marketing and design.First and foremost, I am a leader. As Head of the Theatre Department at Lee College, I am currently responsible for all Curriculum and Instruction in my department and teaching all aspects of Performance and Technical Theatre, as well as Directing all theatrical productions on campus. I am also responsible for maintaining the Theatre Department's budget. .
