It researches different markets to provide consumers with up to date information on companies performing well, and those who are not, within corporate social responsibility. Day to day activities involve being part of a research team conducting research into markets such as clothing, electronics, cosmetics; contacting companies and organisation for information; researching ethical issues and concerns within each market; rating companies against Ethical Consumer's own rating system and ensuring the ratings reflect issues occurring in each market. Other activities include being responsible and part of a team to deliver consultancy projects which involve working with external not-for profit and for profit organisations.
