I am a dedicated Finance Leader who is known for the strong commitment to my team throughout my career. I am passionate about helping people identify opportunities and options, understanding the impact of their choices, and guiding them along the way while allowing them to make their own decisions. When I lead a team, I know that I’ve been entrusted with their care and development. Seeing them grow and achieve their goals is the best reward and I continue to mentor associates even after they move on to a new role. I’ve been fortunate to thrive in many different roles and enjoy bringing my experiences to new opportunities. I currently have a few different passions and am focused on Operational Finance, Lease Administration and Project Management. I enjoy how retail finance operations combine many of my talents: understanding of complex processes and controls, fast paced and changing environment, hybrid of technology and real estate / finance / legal, reliance on numerous internal and external relationships, and need for strong contract negotiation and continued review. With a firm understanding of the real estate and finance ecosystem, I’ve led strategic planning and key system initiatives to improve associate and landlord experiences while balancing against cost of acceptance. In recent years, I’ve co-facilitated conversations between retail operations leaders regarding challenges and opportunities in lease administration between retailers and landlords. I love learning and keeping my skills sharp. Trained as a paralegal, I’ve continued to keep my skill set current on negotiating, reviewing and providing feedback on contract language. I also have a broad network of legal and retail real estate professionals that I utilize as a great way to maintain and build relationships.
