I am an enthusiastic and motivated individual who has extensive experience of working with learning difficulties , brain injuries and individuals with ASD. I have experience in working within multi disciplinary teams with a range of different clinicians and multi disciplinary teams. In my current role, I am the Registered manager of services across Dorset supporting people with learning disabilities. I am responsible for ensuring the safe and effective care and support of each people and ensuring the services are well led under my management. I am also currently the acting Operations Manager of the Dorset services for Advance Housing and Support whereby I manage 3 other support managers and drive for continuous improvement across the region. CQC has rated the services as Good within the last inspection.My previous role as the positive Behaviour Support Coordinator within a special needs school and college has given me managerial experience of leading the Behaviour support service within the site. Roles and responsibilities include writing Behaviour support plans , liaising with external professionals and with a multidisciplinary team on site and education and care staff. I finished a Masters degree in Psychology in July 2017. This has enabled me to further my knowledge within psychology and specialised field of Autism and learning disabilities Prior to this I undertook a BSc degree in Psychology in 2013-2013 from Sheffield Hallam university, graduating with a 1st class honours degree. I look to continue my career working in psychology with a range of complex needs.
