About Heather O'Connor
Obtaining my Master's Degree in Higher Education Administration was a proud moment in time for me, as I am a first-generation college student. Further, this degree supports my passion for working in higher education. I have the pleasure of working at the Stony Brook University Career Center as the Manager of the Healthcare Career Community. In this role, I provide students with resources and individualized support to assist them in finding healthcare experiences such as internships, employment, volunteering, research, and shadowing. Coaching students on ways to achieve their career goals and become successful professionals in healthcare is extremely rewarding. I will continue to make a positive impact through my dedication, passion, and willingness to help students succeed. I look forward to continuing my journey in higher education and am excited to see what the future holds!

My starting title was a sales associate, but I was moved up to become a Full-time Key-Holder. After graduating from college, I was promoted to be the Assistant Store Manager.
