Heather Pressley is the CEO and founder of The Root Collaborative, LLC, a company that offers school success coaching to families and students through collaboration and customization. With over 25 years of experience in various forms of education, Heather has a PhD in Urban Education, an EdM in Teaching and Learning, and a BA in English, History, and Women's Studies. Heather's core competencies include curriculum design, student support, equity and inclusion, collaboration, leadership, problem-solving, and community engagement. She is passionate about helping all students thrive by addressing root causes by bringing together multiple perspectives to brainstorm and collaborate. She has co-founded an experiential school in Colorado, led graduate seminars at Harvard and Columbia University, coached and mentored teachers and leaders across the country, increased access and inclusion for participants at Girls on the Run International, created a collaborative team of diverse talents to consult with various clients, and developed customized and sustainable action plans, trainings, processes, and procedures based on client goals. She is also an expert in education consulting, student advocacy, and girl empowerment. Heather's mission is to provide families and students comprehensive services customized to each student’s experiences, needs and goals so that they can thrive in school and in life.
