We are not typical college prep and not typical tutors or a company with scripted curriculum and prepackaged plans. We LISTEN to our families to best understand their goals, needs and story then draw on our EXPERTISE and in-depth knowledge of schools as we collaborate to find root solutions, foster success and create a positive, successful current school experience and plan for the future. Why would a parent or family reach out to The Root? If they wish school was more challenging or more attentive to their child’s specific needs or want to know how to start preparing for college and when or to know if what they see in their child is lack of motivation or something else or if they wonder is this how school/adolescence/ 9th grade, etc. should be or what to do if their child says they study but continues to fail…
