I have been professionally training dogs for more than 17 years. My main goal in training is opening the lines of communication between handler and dog, allowing for a deeper bond and increased trust. My background is in education, and I love teaching and public speaking. I love witnessing that moment when the light goes on and your dog realizes that the two of you can talk together. I feel very privileged to be able to help handlers see training from the dog’s point of view, and adjust their approach accordingly.My focus is on classes and seminars, and I enjoy speaking at community events and other venues.I am currently a Reading with Rover Therapy Team Evaluator, as well as a Director on Reading with Rover’s Board of Trustees.
