• Meet individually with undergraduate and graduate students to discuss and strategize career-related topics including, resume writing, career exploration, interview skills, and other career development topics. • Facilitate group coaching workshops covering topics ranging from resume writing to designing your own career. • Coach students on methods for marketing themselves, interviewing, and networking strategies to best showcase their interests and skills to potential employers.• Assist students with developing resumes and cover letters, identify opportunities for employment, andassist with the application and interview process.• Create InternReady, a virtual program that supports student success as they research and identify possible internships.• Organize virtual and in person mock interview days with alumni and current students to prepare students for upcoming interviews in collaboration with the College of Engineering’s Office of Advancement.

• Identify and build relationships with local, state, and regional employers for recruitment of students and alumni for internships and full-time career opportunities. • Oversee all department career fairs, ranging in size from 200 students to over 2,000 students in attendance. • Maximize usage and manage the daily operation of Handshake, the career services web-based recruiting database for job listings, on-campus recruiting, and events with 20,000 employers recruiting Auburn students.

• Oversaw the academic advising of approximately 750 first and second year students studying within STEM fields. • Identified students at risk of not being retained due to poor academic performance and intervene using campus and community resources. • Advised students on different career opportunities within their academic field.
