Managing projects and goals in Operations, with attention to process improvements and risk management.

I work with our Actuarial, Underwriting, Sales, Contracts and Legal departments to ensure that administrative and claims costs are kept low. By coordinating and overseeing multiple process improvement initiatives, the department is able to operate independently, project future costs and analyze past issues presented with the department and company. It's an exciting time to be in risk management and to have the opportunity to directly affect the bottom line at WPS. My position and over 15 years experience gives me the opportunity to assess and review multiple facets of cost and customer service at WPS. Healthcare reform has increased the need for improving interdepartmental communication and fostering lasting relationships both internally and externally. In a time of health care reform and uncertainty, WPS is well positioned to handle any upcoming change. Safeguarding against loss is an essential part of any company, so being on process improvement committees allows me to have a voice in the future of the company. I look forward to continuing to grow the department to better align WPS with the ever- changing insurance world.
