QMHP-C in a Therapeutic Day Treatment Program (Norfolk Public Schools - Crossroads School & Coleman Place Elementary)

Provide direct support in the school setting to children who display behavioral and/or emotional difficulties, develop and maintain individual service plans, provide a variety of interventions and strategies to assist the children with reaching their treatment goals and managing their behaviors, provide parent education and support weekly, facilitate group and individual counseling sessions, maintain positive rapport and a working relationship with school administration, and provide crisis intervention when necessary.
