About Heather Spooner - Ctrs
Recent graduate from Brock University's Therapeutic Recreation and Leisure program. Currently in the process of obtaining CTRS certification. I hope to to start my Therapeutic Recreation career by working with children, youth, and young adults with a wide range of developmental, physical, and mental disorders.I look forward to incorporating my experience as a personal trainer when I work with future clients! This includes using a person-first-centred approach to helping my clients achieve not only their fitness but also their overall well-being goals. The next fitness certification I’m working towards is my Adaptive Physical Education certification.I also have a strong passion for the outdoors and strongly believe in the benefits nature can provide us all. I hope to take this passion a step further and bring nature/forest therapy into my future TR practices.
