I assisted members with all aspects of monetary transactions - currency exchange, SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) disbursements, and other international bill payments in the British Pound, Canadian Dollar, Swiss Franc, Australian Dollar, Norwegian Krone, Polish Zloty, Swedish Krona, Romanian Leu, and the Czech Koruna. I handled the maintenance of High Yield Certificates, Money Markets, IRA's, and Trusts. Additionally, I fulfilled the role of Spangdahlem's New Hire Mentor and trained all new employees on the handling of currency, company computer systems, and safety functions such as anti-robbery initiatives and bomb threat procedures. As the branch mentor, I led weekly base-wide seminars for active duty members on available pre-deployment certificates and personal account protection while on mission.

I worked along side of buyers from both the Misses and Womens Sportswear divisions to study and interpret sales trends, strategize product selection/merchandising techniques, and research up and coming avenues for expanding both departments' target markets. I generated weekly advertisements that showcased a wide variety of promotional items with consideration to season, profit margin, stock level, and overall marketability of the goods. In addition, I had a role in the seasonal development of Boscov’s private label line for the Misses and Womens Ready-To-Wear area, consisting of over 40% of the buyers’ total business.

A main role in this position included analyzing the merchandise buyers' Fall and Spring plans to determine the proper distribution of goods based on each store's individual performance from the previous year. I also assisted in aspects of store replenishment, including the creation of models and classes, updating style codes within the database, and assigning SKU codes to new product. During this time, I became proficient in JDA Software's Arthur Enterprise Suite.
