I was responsible for planning and implementing the monthly activity calendars for the Assisted Living and Independent Living residents. I developed and distributed the monthly Newsletter for the residents with information about the community outings for each month. I facilitated all leisure and recreation groups on and off campus, which included driving the bus. I attended weekly Resident Review meetings and assisted with planning community wide events.

I assessed and interviewed students, and completed written assessments that were included in the students' charts. I organized, planned, implemented and evaluated therapeutic recreation groups on a weekly basis. I completed weekly progress notes, and attended weekly Treatment Team meetings. I planned and implemented outdoor adventure recreation programs, which included camping, canoeing, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, hiking, rock climbing, and snowshoeing.

I was responsible for patient care by maintaining a safe environment, and was responsible for supervising clients on the residential unit. I organized, planned, and implemented on and off campus leisure and recreation groups and activities. I also assisted with the intake of new clients.

I assessed clients for participation in recreation therapy groups; planned, organized, implemented and evaluated recreation therapy groups; completed progress notes on clients' participation in weekly recreation therapy groups.

I planned, organized, implemented, and evaluated afternoon recreation activities for the summer program. I assisted with the planning and implementing of weekend excursions, and chaperoned a highlight tour of Switzerland.
