Heather joined Quintiles in December 2007 as a Project Coordinator in the Allergy, Respiratory, Infectious Diseases and Vaccines (ARIDV) Therapeutic Delivery Unit and is currently a Clinical Project Manager with a wide range of therapeutic experience, managing the execution of clinical studies per contract, from initiation through to closeout. As a Clinical Project Manager, she ensures that study management and quality project deliverables are completed on time, within budget and in accordance with SOPs, policies and practices. She drives and co-ordinates cross-functional project teams (across different geographic regions - Eastern Europe, Western Europe, North America, Latin America, Japan) and has significant experience managing external vendors with services such as IP distribution, ECG, e-diary, central spirometry and QOL questionnaire providers to support milestone achievement. She serves as a primary project contact with the customer to ensure communication is maintained and continuously improved and reporting schedules are adhered to. Heather leads problem solving and resolution efforts to include management of risk and develop proactive contingency plans. She identifies any quality issues within the study and implements appropriate corrective action plans and also provides input for the development of proposals for new work, project budgets and attending bid meetings for new opportunities.Heather is an enthusiastic and motivated individual who works very well with her team to ensure that milestones are met.In the 9 years since joining Quintiles, Heather has also gained extensive knowledge and experience in managing global study budgets, managing vendor contracts and budgets and overseeing the execution of the TMF (electronic and paper).
