In 2021 I graduated Summa Cum Laude from CWI with an Associate of Arts in English, with a Creative Writing emphasis. I've been on the Copy team at Scentsy since early 2020. I was brought onto the team as the Copy Coordinator. The position requires that I maintain the decks that house the copy for our catalogs and other print materials. I also maintain the spreadsheets that house historical information for all of our fragrances and products, as well as the current naming conventions of all of our products.As a member of the team, I am involved in the group reviews of each item of copy that the team produces. Beginning in 2022, I began working on the copyediting path with the goal to eventually become the copyeditor for our team.In addition to my coordinator responsibilities, I work with our current copyeditor to complete those duties. These include, but are not limited to, being involved on proofs for all catalogs as well as any product packaging. We also review and edit documents created by other departments, such as our Training and Legal teams. I also have previous experience with generating and editing copy for video captions.
