Currently recruiting for all large non-profit organization. Filling positions such as CNA, Dining Services, Chauffer, Maintenance staff positions for the Breeze Park Facility located in St. Charles area (a full-scale retirement facility including Independent Living, Assisted Living and Nursing Unit). Also assist HR Director with any tasks assigned.

 Offered support for Mid-Atlantic Region of national telecommunications company specializing in installation of high-speed internet, home phone, cable television and home alarm installation. Provided support in all areas HR including staffing, recruiting, selection, hiring, compensation, training, discipline, and termination. Assisted and counseled management on employee relations issues to include investigations and extensive travel to all facilities within the region. Recruited all exempt and non-exempt positions in the region and conduct new hire orientation. Respond to unemployment compensation claims and coordinate hearings. Track all FMLA/LOA and light duty assignments nation-wide (70 locations/3,000 employees). Conduct employee file audits for unemployment claims and various other matters; ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Lead a Human Resources team including HR Benefits Specialist, HR Administrator, and HR Assistant Software applications: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); HRIS (Ultipro); Payroll (ADP)

Post internal and external jobs, review application/resumes, evaluate applicant skills, perform routine phone screens, interview job applicants, hire and process new employee for payroll setup/data entry and HR/personnel file, file worker’s compensation and FMLA claims with insurance company and maintain those files, coordinate and track unemployment claims, provide guidance to program directors when employee disciplinary action was needed, review and approve employee evaluations, conduct employee exit interviews, assist in team-facilitated new-hire orientation trainings. Communicate with employees on a daily basis via telephone and conduct site visits monthly for employee relations. Facilitated various other trainings annually as needed such as OSHA, FLSA, Emergency Preparedness & Safety of Field Personnel etc. Managed special projects.
