Within the Department of Neurology a distinguished group of collegial pacesetters are constantly seeking to improve the outcomes of patients with neurological disorders by spearheading innovative research; training the next generation of competent clinicians and accomplished academicians; and providing state-of-the-ART (accessible, relevant, timely) care.The Zucker Institute for Applied Neurosciences (ZIAN) is creating a self-sustaining, commercially-minded technology accelerator engine within Neurosciences at MUSC to change the lives of patients. The team is committed to reaching out and connecting with all innovators within the MUSC Neurosciences community (Neurosurgery, Neurology and Neurosciences Research) to raise awareness of the development resources that we have to assist with intellectual property assessment, engineering, regulatory and marketing of technology. ZIAN is unique in that it has resources dedicated to funding projects that show commercialization potential.

The Partnership for Families (PFF) is an umbrella organization working with established non-profits to assist Richmond parents and caregivers, from all walks of life, flourish, to better prepare their children for success in kindergarten, and beyond.
