I specialize in a therapeutic, nurturing approach that is based in neuroscience. I believe that individuals who suffer from anxiety, depression, ADHD, and trauma cannot be treated without taking a holistic view and using breathwork along with other techniques to address issues of the spine. The mind and body are good friends, and they respect each other. They only become enemies through bad dietary choices, poor alignment, traumatic experiences, substance abuse, and everyday stress. The relationship between the mind and body can only be repaired with proper self-care, which consists of strategies such as movement, yoga, Qigong, breathwork, nutrition, and meditation.Relying on my knowledge and experience, I am able to identify each client’s energy level and match it with individualized, targeted approaches, such as movement activities, to improve overall wellness. Because of the diverse tools and resources I am able to provide, I pride myself in being successful with individuals who other practitioners would describe as challenging. A few of my areas of specialization are:• Diagnostic Assessment• Integrative Treatments• CBT Therapy• Dance/Movement Therapy (DMT)• Group Therapy• DBT Therapy• Counseling Individuals/Families • Dual Diagnoses• Community Resource/ReferralI am committed to providing integrated, patient-centered care to close the gap in coordination between behavioral health and primary care. Through ongoing learning and collaboration with other healthcare professionals, I want to help set the new norm for how people struggling with mental illness, chronic pain, and substance abuse receive care.If your organization is seeking an integrative health practitioner to enhance your clients’ care and help them achieve their wellness goals, I would love to connect with you.
