I taught over 40 3-5 year old children essential skills daily including, phonics, writing, math, art and more to prepare them for Kindergarten. I worked with English Language Learners mainly refugees, by integrating them with peers to learn the English Language which they came to school not knowing. They left the class able to communicate with others and also had the skills needed for Kindergarten. I helped prepare lesson plans and materials for the upcoming weeks. I assisted in preparing goals as well as problem solving for IEP students to help them achieve the best learning they could. I also answered phone calls during the day for parent calls as well as calls from the District Office.
