Heather manages strategic sustainability planning projects for clients in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. In addition to climate action planning, she has worked across the food recovery hierarchy on research and stakeholder engagement projects related to food loss and waste measurement, food rescue process and technology innovations, compostable foodservice packaging as feedstocks, and compost contamination reduction initiatives.As Director of Consulting Operations, Heather directs day-to-day activities and strategic initiatives to ensure sustainable staffing, skill-building, and quality client service delivery across the organization. Prior to joining Cascadia in 2015, Heather worked for 18 years as a management and technology consultant helping clients execute on their most strategic initiatives, including: planning and leading complex projects, leading organizations through transformational change, designing and operationalizing portfolio and program management functions, and optimizing business processes through detailed analysis. Through these experiences she acquired expertise in stakeholder engagement and communications, cross-functional group facilitation and whole system thinking.With a passion for creating calm and order from chaos, Heather never met a white board, dashboard, or process flow diagram she didn’t like.
