I've incorporated these passions into my work as a marketer.It might sound strange, but I started my career at the early age of 13, working after school in the local pharmacy and seafood restaurant. I still vividly remember the smell of frying oil on my clothes, the salty and crispy crackle of the delicious fish and chips we'd snack on before shift. I didn't realise it then, but these experiences formed the foundation of my career trajectory. Interpersonal skills, teamwork and the concepts of great customer service and presentation - these all began at my small, out-of-school side hustles.Fast forward to work from home (while remote work was still a new idea!) and the juggling act of parenthood and a career delivering digital copywriting and marketing services. This is where I really started to build a deep understanding of modern marketing principles, particularly in the digital and data space... not to mention developing killer time management skills as a working mum! Over those years I supported and was mentored by a wide variety of professionals working in a diverse range of fields including market research, event marketing, social media marketing, business coaching, publishing and law. For the part 8 years, I've had the pleasure of working in the human services sector in management and specialist roles, something that very much aligns with my personal sentiments of understanding and respect for every individual.
