I provide girls toy and doll design services for entrepreneurs and toy companies, with a focus on preliminary design and illustration. My clients include Spinmaster, MGA Entertainment, Jakks Pacific, Moose Toys and Mattel.As an independent designer I have had the opportunity to work on many different kinds of girls' toys, including fashion dolls, plush toys, large and small dolls, figurines, baby dolls, play-sets, roll-play costumes, and paper dolls.I designed and developed prototypes of the Avastars dolls, including the automated face deco designs for 3D printing.As an inventor I worked closely with a group of toy pros to create Pony Royale, a line of fantasy-fashion pony dolls produced by Razor. I researched, designed, illustrated and helped to build the initial concepts for the doll. I took part in presentations to pitch the concept to toy companies.

I worked as a guest lecturer to students in Toy Design Department at Otis College of Art and Design, mentoring juniors in the "Drawing for Portfolio Development" class via group discussion and critique. I created the syllabus for a one-day long fashion doll workshop and presented the information to the students in the Toy Design IV class. I also served as juror in a guest panel for final student doll design presentations.

As a member of the faculty at Sewing Arts Center in Santa Monica I taught students how to make basic alterations to commercial patterns, understand the qualities of different fabrics, assemble a quality sewing kit, become familiar with the home sewing machine, and sew garments.

El Segundo, California

As a Barbie designer I worked on many popular dolls including Dolls of the World – The Princess Collection, the Style Set Collection and The Birthstone Collection. During my tenure at Mattel I designed hundreds of dozens for the Barbie line. In my body of work are collector dolls, specialty dolls, main-line dolls and many stand-alone fashions

I assisted the owner of this women's contemporary sportswear company. My responsibilities included pattern-making, creating embroidery designs and working on set at fashion photography shoots.

Illustrated line sheets and created presentation boards for elegant knitwear company.

Won the Reebok International Designovation contest and then interned at the Reebok apparel division in Stoughton Massachusetts. Worked directly with their active wear designers to create a new line of in-line skating apparel.

Assisted menswear design team with developing designs, creating concept boards and coordinating presentations.
