This position has involved an advanced amount of financial infrastructure growth, including startup, R&D, manufacturing, inventory and COGS, revenue recogntion and project accounting. Migration from Quickbooks Enterprise to MS Dynamics ERP

Manage and direct the accounting departments of 3 foam manufacturing plants located in Colorado, Nevada and Utah. Develop, maintain and enforce accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure timely financial statements. Manage and reconcile monthly physical inventory count in each plant, tying out to Cost of Goods Sold.Perform and maintain general ledger activities including fixed asset management and reconciliations with backup docs. Create accurate and timely monthly financial statements, reviewing results with general managers and executives. Provide and maintain annual audit information, preparation and documents per company guidelines. Prepare report and submit taxes for sales & use and property taxes in three different states. Work with corporate level executives and other controllers on budget and forecasting activities. Assist in development and implementation of new accounting procedures and features to enhance workflow.

Manage all financial and accounting aspects of a growing cannabis company with $5 million in annual sales. Create and enforce all accounting practices and procedures, oversee cash flow, inventory, taxes, and expense controls.
