I’m a London-based journalist with more than a decade of experience as a writer, producer and sub-editor for print, web and TV.I currently work as a sub-editor at Times Higher Education and have previously worked at media organisations such as Al Jazeera English and MailOnline. I am the former editor of The South African newspaper and TheSouthAfrican.com. I have also been a guest commentator on South African and international current affairs for TV channels such as BBC, ITV, Channel 5, Al Jazeera, Arise News and eNCA, and LBC radio.I hail from Johannesburg and hold a BA in Journalism and English Literature, as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from Rhodes University in Makhanda (formerly Grahamstown).
