Heather has been a leader in the Deloitte Graduate Talent Acquisition team since 2014. During this time she has coached high performing teams across all Business Units, recruiting young talent from STEM to Accounting and everything in between across the country. Heather has also served on the committee for the Australian Association of Graduate Employers (AAGE) since 2023, and recently founded the ‘Accounting Early Careers Advisory Network’ (AECAN, pronounced Ay-Can).Heather is known as a young veteran in the recruitment industry, starting her career in 2004 straight out of university. She worked for an agency (DFP Recruitment) for 5 years, then internal (Aegis, an outsourcer), so always high volume! During Heather’s time at Aegis she stepped up from Manager, Senior Manager & a secondment as AVP (Associate Vice President) reporting to the CEO leading the HR, Leadership Development, Internal Communications & the RTO. Heather was first in family to go to university, has a Bachelor of Behaviour Science (Psychology) from La Trobe, a Diploma of Management, Cert IV in Training & Assessment & another Cert IV in Coaching. Not bad for someone with ADHD & who came from a low SES background!
