I copyedit for a variety of scientific journals, ensuring all content follows a specific style guide (such as AMA, CMoS, or custom), as well as read for grammar, punctuation, and clarity. I also help manage different copyediting teams, making sure deadlines are met, style manuals are current, and team members are fully trained.

I edit the written content of webtoon and webnovels that have been translated from Korean to English. I localize content for an American audience as well as check translations for accuracy, grammar, and clarity.

I supported multiple departments in the school with office duties such as answering phones, monitoring email inboxes, maintaining up-to-date files, and coordinating schedules. I also assisted with event planning for things like induction ceremonies and graduation. My main tasks centered around assisting the students and the Dean of Students with any issues or needs, which varied significantly on a daily basis.

I taught 1st through 6th grade at this private elementary school. I independently managed all my classes, adjusting each lesson to be level-appropriate and effective. My co-workers and I developed the yearly curriculum, creating all lessons and materials ourselves. In addition, during COVID online education, we filmed and edited extensive lesson content for students to watch at home. With my smaller class sizes, I was able to work closely with each student, monitoring and aiding their English-learning progress. I also helped improve relations between the English department and other school departments when communications or expectations were unclear.

While actively pursuing sales from the hundreds of people who visit Pike Place Market, I also helped guide and coordinate a dynamic team of sales people. I provided problem resolution, helped train new hires, and created new resources for training and reference. I improved the process to track store inventory and placed more accurate store orders, as well as enhanced store merchandising. I also assisted in special Market events, business trade shows, and outside sales targeting corporate businesses in Seattle.

At the company headquarters, I was in charge of regular wholesale telemarketing as well as managing corporate and retail orders. I provided assistance and customer resolution over the phone, processed internet orders,and also worked sales in the retail store. Starting in just a temporary seasonal position, I earned a full time position, moving on to assist in training new hires as well as updating the training manuals.

I aided undergraduate and graduate students with their writing assignments for school, providing advice in grammar, content, clarity, and style.

I created several posters for Kodon events, significantly increasing the attendance for these gatherings. I also aided in the layout design of the magazine.
