At the International Trade Administration, our team is dedicated to enhancing the global standing of U.S. manufacturing industries. With expertise in international trade and a strong technical and policy focus on sectors like transportation, energy, environmental, and health IT, we work to position American businesses at the forefront of innovation in markets worldwide. Previously, as Senior Technology Advisor for the Secretary of Commerce and Program Coordination Office Director at NIST, I spearheaded strategic initiatives that fostered collaboration and set the direction for standards and technology developments for AI, cybersecurity, biotechnology, and advanced manufacturing. My PhD degree in materials science underpins my approach to complex policy challenges, ensuring that industry and analysis efforts are informed, targeted, and effective.
