About Heather Pasero

I have a passion for equality, diversity, inclusion and belonging, having worked as a careers professional in higher and further education, as well as in the community, I have supported a diverse range of clients from a wide-range of backgrounds, empowering and unlocking potential for groups and individuals resulting in strong outcomes and outputs. I design and deliver one to one frameworks, embed. design and deliver employability modules as part of undergraduate programmes and work as part of the team developing brand new online resources for central Careers and Employability Services.I lead on the Vice Chancellor's Scheme, and Career Vision Plus, projects supporting and showcasing the unique talents and attributes of under-represented groups as the move toward the labour market or further study.I am the link Career Consultant for Widening Participation and Social Mobility. I also sit on the Social Mobility Network Working Group, producing and hosting The Class Ceiling Podcast. In addition I project managed The Class Ceiling Photography Exhibition, an exhibition to showcase the working class experiences of staff, students and alumni of University of Southampton.
