Piloted The Common Core Deconstructed by Sheron Brown, PhD, a program that teaches how to deconstruct Common Core standards and provides teachers with tools to incorporate standards into current curriculum. Incorporated strategies into my own classes and mentored other English Language Arts teachers. Helped shaped and lead initiatives to develop and implement English Language Arts curriculum. Designed assessments, inquiry based research projects, and performance tasks for the 7th and 9th grade curriculum. Reviewed and approved literature and facilitated workshops for the implementation of Common Core standards.
