Global Compliance Manager, Supply Chain
Current•Ability to work independently, effectively, efficiently, research and understand various subject matter, and make informed decisions, while considering business risk, in a demanding environment. •Complete EcoVadis and Worldly (HIGG) for SPP, and support operations ESG initiatives.•Work closely with the Procurement Department to proactively address compliance and sustainability. •Evaluate marketing content and provide guidance relating to FTC Green Guides. •Monitor client compliance contract language and policies to ensure compliance with requirements.•Analyze supplier test reports for correct product safety testing and address missing standards.•Train domestic and international teams on product compliance standards and customer specific requirements.•Coordinate product testing and factory social audits. •Complete monthly compliance reporting.•Manage recall process for US and Canada Promotional Products Division. •Monitor emerging international compliance concerns, understand resulting regulations, and identify how the business should respond to requirements.•Create white papers, support documents, and internal policies and procedures. •Develop product safety testing protocols to ensure compliance with applicable international regulations.•Negotiate client and supply chain contracts. •Work with Logistics Department to facilitate the product safety and labeling requirements for international shipments. •Manage international Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program for Staples Global Identity network. •Communicate SPP’s compliance position and demonstrate detailed knowledge of requirements with customers, engineers, attorneys, chemists, and technical associates.•Identify supplier compliance needs and provide education to facilitate the development of compliant products.•Familiar with PPE, medical devices, and OTC Drugs requirements. •Logistics Hazmat Class 3 and 9 certified in 2023.•UL 2056 Power Bank Standards Development Committee member.
