Internal communications for Customer Experience Center of Excellence

Develop and execute strategic communication plans for the shared services leadership including CIO and 8 VPs. Integral member of leadership team serving as advisor, writer and editor. Active participation with various teams within shared services including business operations, IT leadership, and HR services.

Ownership for the development and execution of the Chairman's Innovation Award at Best Buy. Award program recognizes employees across the U.S. and Canada for innovation and/or improvements in how business is accomplished. During these two years, the program was improved and expanded to recognize multiple levels of contributions as well as initiatives for efficiency. Responsibilities included managing executive-level award committee; writing, representing and advocating for employee contributors; leading review committee; insuring award payouts; and tracking awarded projects for continued contribution.

Liaison for production elements between Best Buy and advertising agencies.

Critical account manager for brand advertising including strategy and execution of television, magazine and digital advertising. Oversaw key selling periods including back-to-school and holidays including execution of all advertising and collateral materials. Managed advertising strategy and execution for new brand initiatives including Magnolia audio/video and Best Buy Mobile.

Liaison between Chicago agency and Target headquarters in Minneapolis. Served as account manager for promotional marketing of key selling seasons (e.g. Holiday) and brand partnerships (e.g. Sony Pictures).

Sole account manager for Redmond/Aussie hair care account. Responsible for strategy and execution of television, print and collateral including new product development and packaging.

Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area
