Guides and supports NCQA’s mission-driven activities in many capacities including the development, management, and dissemination of information for multiple government, state and research initiatives.Managed a large and complex multi-year innovative health equity contract that included numerous research goals to explore health disparities and develop new tools and models to increase understanding and awareness, and solutions to reduce health disparities. Managed 7 person team to develop standards and process measures for serious illness care. The team conducted 2 research studies to understand how 11 health sites with seriously ill patients performed on process measures and measure related to using the Serious Illness Conversation protocol conducted between patient and provider and Goal-Attainment Scaling method which helps the patient’s provider understand the patient’s goal(s) and assess if the patient’s personal goal has been met.Managed and provided technical assistance for grantees part of Aligning Forces for Quality funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to implement physician public reporting systems. Provided expertise in quality measurement and reporting including review of the data collection plan, selection of measures, data collection methodology, physician attribution, benchmarking and public reporting strategies.Managed a pharmaceutical funded project to develop and produce a publication series with a focus on quality measures to assist payers and providers in improving healthcare quality by exploring quality trends associated with specific NCQA evaluation standards and metrics. Successfully completed three publications, the first focused on Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), the second focused on Relative Resource Use measures and the third focused on the Plan All Cause Readmission measure.Managed the work and production of 5 report cards for 2 states.

Managed process to develop 3 cancer education materials on breast, cervical and prostate cancer. Managed revision, production, and marketing of cervical cancer screening materials containing the new cervical cancer screening guidelines based on U.S. Preventive Task Force and American Cancer Society recommendations.
