Heather is the Managing Partner of Northwestern Mutual - Virginia. In this role she partners with leaders and advisors in Richmond, Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, Lynchburg, Roanoke, Virginia Beach and Williamsburg to deliver a first class financial planning experience to their clients throughout the state and beyond.She is a champion of women in the financial services industry and passionate about empowering women financially. She founded the Women’s Field Association of Northwestern Mutual, an advocacy group for women advisors and team members that partners with the C-suite of NM as they advance company priorities. The WFA is field led and the first and only of its kind in the financial services industry. Heather began her career as an antitrust attorney with a prominent international law firm based in Washington, D.C. Her practice focused on the defense of corporate clients in connection with domestic and international mergers and acquisitions.Heather received her Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her BA from High Point University.
