To highlight what is possible, inform and educate – Elevating People and Organizations.Over 6 years ago, I left the corporate world to work for a Non-Profit, whose mission is to end poverty in Cincinnati. That’s when I started my journey in using this little-known CRM, called Salesforce. (My not-so-subtle attempt at humor). While I knew Access, Excel, data analysis, reporting, metrics, KPI’s, quality control and more, I knew nothing about Salesforce and less about Non-Profits. I dove into the deep end, learning all I could, with a lot of help from the awesome SF community.In the time since, I migrated Cincinnati Works to the NPSP (they had been using Salesforce since 2009), created new reports and dashboards to show trends; month over month, year over year and more. I have moved more of our processes into Flow, to leverage complex program and case management requirements. The last 2 years, I have taken on an architect role, creating and updating the instance to reflect new priorities. In 2019 I had the honor of presenting at the Non-Profit Keynote during Dreamforce, to present the Case Management module for Salesforce. I, along with others worked with Salesforce in developing their Case and Program Management add-ons. I also attend Community Sprints and give back as much as I can to the community that helped me.What I am good at; Salesforce, Flow, Reports, Dashboards, data analysis, Object Creation, building business solutions, written and video documentation, Excel, Outlook, being a geek, husband, father and grandfather.What I am learning; PowerBI, Website basics, strategic planning, thought leadership and anything else that can help me grow both personally and professionally.
