KEY ACHIEVEMENTS Received a “Spotlight” employee award for outstanding contributions to the SE community and for directing efforts to productize an interface between Verizon Cloud Compute and Cloud Storage for a DNA Sequencing workload representing ~1 PB worth of data (projected) for a large $4B+ Pharma company. Engineered and closed a $2M+ Managed Hosting & Cloud project for a $10B consumer electronics company to support a joint venture between the company and the State of NY. Engineered and closed a $1M multi-geo hybrid Managed Hosting and Cloud deployment for a $1B VoIP/SIP vendor to support business critical workloads and operations in the US and LATAM. Entrusted with the responsibility to be the Solutions Architect and technical liaison for a $5B retailer that represents $4M+ annual revenue for Verizon, overseeing a holistic migration plan from legacy Verizon managed platforms to hybrid next-gen Cloud and Managed Hosting services.

RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACHIEVEMENTS  Received a “Simple Thanks” award with only 4 months with the company for developing a workaround, without any coding effort, that allowed Cloud customers to reuse their existing Windows OS licenses in the Cloud representing substantial cost savings. Engineered and closed a $1M+ colocation project for a $10B consumer electronics company delivering advanced Colocation solutions and security controls, while observing PCI compliancy requirements. Recognized as one of the lead SEs in the NE region for adding 60+ Cloud customers in Q4 2013, teaming up with assigned sales executives during a cloud adoption campaign.  Started an initiative to create and share a myriad of professional pre-sales templates: Proposals, Cloud/MH solution blueprints and diagrams, Visio stencils, calculators, assessment questionnaires, etc. to support the NE SE team, reducing turnaround times from weeks/days to hours. Contributed more than 90% of the content. Pioneered a Post-Sales, “Project building package” documentation to offer the Project Management and Implementation teams a detailed, technical deployment specification which reducing implementation times, improving communication with clients, and ensuring successful execution, and total client satisfaction.

 Managed the IT security and virtualization divisions at the largest IT Integrator in the Dom. Rep. supporting Sales through technical and business presentations, solution development, objection handling, competitive displacements, and internal training.  Supervised a group of 3 consultants and implemented IT projects for medium/large companies enabling virtual workplaces and securing digital assets. Created and monitored project plans overseeing tasks, milestones, resources, and status. Established and ensured that scheduling and cost control standards were implemented. Worked closely with partners (Dell, Microsoft, Citrix, McAFee) to create and implement projects of exceptional value to customers.

 Functioned as an infrastructure specialist for Microsoft enterprise products. Provided level 2 technical support to customers in the metro area, migrated and rolled out new systems and applications. Promoted from technical support to the engineering team in less than a year due to outstanding performance and being one the youngest specialists to obtain the MCSE certification.
