Create a new department in EUROCHILE. The department was focused on two main economic areas: Aquaculture (especially in salmon) and wine industry. I was also the coordinator of the Incubator project dependent of the French Embassy in Eurochile.

Responsible to improve the operative efficiencies in Eurochile.

As head of the Chilean network node IRC (Innovation Relay Center) (now EEN), a European network for technology transfer, I had to:• Improve the innovation in SMEs.• Promote the standards of the EU's work in these areas.• Work with several members of the network. The network is composed by universities, research associations, and regional development agencies.• Generate matching between supply and demand of technologies.• Strengthen the university-business link.• Conducting technology audits for companies linked to the IRC network.

Mainly, I was in charge of evaluating technological consortias.Program called Universidad-Empresa, it was a project of the World Bank Project. Ministry of Education - National Commission for Scientific and Technological Research.

Evaluation and supervision of projects supported by the FDI fund, called INNOVA nowadays (public interest contest, regional and thematic, seed capital, technological consortia). • Responsible of the evaluation, assignation and supervision of the projects in research and innovation, seed capital, regional development. I could manage 40 projects at the same time (at different stages of development) And, a budget of 24 million of dollars in total.• Responsible for supervising projects in: fishing and aquaculture industry, forestry, agriculture, wood industry, construction and tourism. • Design different calls for funding application.During this period I developed the following skills:• Monitor and manage technology development projects.• Working in different sectors of the economy.• To guide the process of creating and developing projects.• Deal with scientists, entrepreneurs and public sector representatives.• Understand the weaknesses of the Chilean industry, mainly in forestry, construction and tourism.• Meetings with foreign counterparts.• Be familiarized with technology networks.• Evaluate new business project to provide seed capital.• Develop mechanisms to do management and control of projects.• Responsible for special bidding.• Write reports and present results of the evaluations to the committee of the fund.

I worked mainly in the agro-food area and I was a member of the team who implemented the FONSIP fund in CORFO.

I made a summary of a group of studies on the economy of Brasil

During my undergraduate studies I was a teacher assistant in the following chairs: Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Introduction to Economics at the Universities of USACH, U de Chile, Mayor, in different faculties, administration and economics, journalism school, school of political science, engineering.Also I was a research assistant for the former Director of The Central Bank of Chile, Dr. Carlos Massad. I could study the effects of the liberalization of the financial system and commerce in Latin America. This was prepared for the World Bank.
